New Chapter

If you told me a year ago I would be going to college in a different state away from my family I probably wouldn’t believe you. I had always dreamed of going away, but felt like I was way too much of a homebody to even consider actually doing it. A lot can happen in a year though. The Lord is faithful when you completely put your trust in Him. Which is not always easy and something I have to remind and teach myself daily to do. He knew though that I needed to get out of my comfort zone, move on from my past, and experience new things. Everyone is in a different season of life, but no matter your circumstances you can be joyful in knowing that Jesus is your savior and He placed you where you are today for a reason. Starting a new chapter is hard. I’d be lying if I said it was easy and I haven’t cried at all, but when I look back at where I was a year ago I can see so clearly how the Lord has been working in my life and how much I’ve been able to grow as a person and how much more He has planned for me. One of my favorite verses is “yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my savior” Habakkuk 3:18. So next time you think you’re not where you’re suppose to be think about the amazing things God has planned for you and find Joy.

Instead of my usual outfit pictures here are some of my favorite pictures from this summer and beginning of school of people and places I love.
